What is Kybella?

Kybella is an injection administered under the chin to help minimize the appearance of moderate to severe fat below the chin. It is the only FDA-approved treatment to improve the appearance of a double chin.

How is Kybella administered?

At each appointment, you will receive multiple, small injections under the chin by a Nurse Practitioner.

How does Kybella work?

The natural ingredient in Kybella, synthetic deoxycholic acid, helps aid in the breakdown and destroy fat cells, leaving you with a noticeably modified chin. Once these fat cells are destroyed, they cannot return.

What are possible side effects?

The most common side effects after a Kybella treatment include redness, swelling, bruising, pain, numbness and areas of hardness around the injection sites.

How many treatments of Kybella will I need?

Our Nurse Practitioner will meet with you to determine how many treatments are right for you.  You may receive up to six treatments spaced one month apart.  The number of treatments depends on the severity of the fat tissue under the chin, as well as the desire results you are looking for.
